Substance Abuse Treatment

Outpatient Substance Abuse Addiction Services
It is the mission of the SLV Mental Health Substance Abuse Services to provide a coordinated network of services to address problems resulting from substance abuse and addiction throughout the San Luis Valley. Services through the SLV Mental Health include prevention services, early intervention and referral, and direct treatment. Every effort will continually be made to make all services accessible to the citizens of the San Luis Valley.
The Substance Abuse Treatment Program is comprised of a variety of accessible, high quality treatment services for alcohol and substance abuse treatment. This program offers:

• Evaluation / assessments,
• Group and individual counseling
• Level I, Level II education & therapy
• Intensive outpatient programming
• Orientation to 12-step programs or other appropriate organizations to maintain sobriety,
• Overall case management, and referral to outside services.

We take Medicaid, private insurance and have a sliding fee scale. We provide services to adults, adolescents and veterans.
