What: Adolescent Anger Management Group:
This group is designed to provide adolescent clients with ideas they
can use to help manage their anger. Some
topics will include Anger Triggers, Stress Management, Conflict Resolution,
Family Issues, and Peer Pressure. Clients
will also address the use of alcohol and drugs and how this interacts with
anger.
Members of the group will need to complete 8 group sessions within a 10
week period. They are only allowed 4
absences or will be subject to termination from group. Group is open to adolescents, ages 12 – 17
years. Cost will be $10.00 per session. Members will need parent permission if under
15 years old. Members will also have to
become enrolled as clients, if not already in other Mental Health services.
