Addiction Recovery Center Classes

 

DUI Level I Classes:

When:  2nd Wednesday and Thursday of each month

Where:  SLV Mental Health Center, Alamosa

Cost:  $90

What:  Level I:  Level I DUI  is a state approved curriculum which meets the requirements for state mandated Level I DUI Classes.  This class is 12 hours of DUI Level I Education. 

 

DUI Level II Classes:

What:  DUI Level II:  State approved curriculum that fulfills the requirements of DUI Level II Education, 24 hours and Level II Therapy (tracks A, B, C, and D), group sessions, 2-10 months in duration. 

Alamosa Group:

When:  Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 to 8:00 pm

SSIC Groups:

Where:  Mental Health Center, Alamosa

What:  SSIC Groups:  Strategies for Self-Improvement and Change (SSIC) cognitive behavioral therapy designed for substance abuse and offenders.  It is approved through the Department of Corrections (DOC).  Phase II is 20 weeks of two hour sessions.  Phase III is 10 weeks of two hour sessions.

 

Relapse Prevention Group:

When:  Tuesdays, 8:30 am

Where:  SLV Mental Health Center, Alamosa

What:  Relapse Prevention Group:  Relapse Prevention cognitive core curriculum approved through the Department of Corrections (DOC) addressing the needs of relapse prevention.

 

Dual Diagnosis Group:

When:  Mondays and Thursdays, 4:00 to 5:00 pm

Where:  SLV Mental Health Center, Alamosa

What:  Dual Diagnosis Group:  Dual Diagnosis is a 12-week treatment program focusing on individuals with a co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorder.  The program is an integrated model with a synergistic approach involving group and individual therapy, relapse prevention/mutual support, and case management.  It has been a designed to meet the needs of those individuals who have not found other treatment approaches helpful and effective.
